  Bambu is treated against decay and conforms to residential and commercial fire prevention hazards. After which, the Bambu is coated with at least six coatings of UV-cured Polyurethane. These give the bamboo wood their sheen and color, and ensure maximum scratch-resistance and wear-thru resistance. It is available in two patterns, horizontal or vertical. Strips that are laid down horizontally show off the rings of bamboo as knots. Strips that are placed vertically create a much different pattern  
     
 

Installation
Bambu comes pre-finished, ready for installation, whether nailed down or glue directly to a concrete or wood substrate.
